  1. “Faith” does not believe God will do something  - but that He has already done it.

 

  1.   Matt.5:13 – “you are the salt of the earth”  -  salt makes people thirsty. When folk are with me, do they become thirsty for Jesus Christ the Living Water?

  1.   When you really know God, you will start acting on His Word.

  1.   After General Jonathan Wainwright was captured by the Japanese in World War II he became a broken, crushed, starving man. A U.S general went to the camp to tell him the Japanese had surrendered, he was free and in command.  Wainwright, with the knowledge of Allied victory, returned to his quarters and was confronted by guards who began to mistreat him as before – but Wainwright said “No. I am in command here -  now, these are my orders . . .” Have you been informed of the Victory of the Lord ? Then asserts your rights as a Christian and don’t let the Enemy rule you any more. Stand on the Resurrection ground!!

 

  1.   Knowledge of Jesus, without obedience to him, doesn’t raise us above the level of the Devil –  it’s doing God’s Will, not knowing his commands that brings His Blessing .
