Pain	His Will	Nectar	Control	Forgive?
Journey	Guidance	Him?	Weary	Problems

Lord, I'm in pain, life's not easy,

I need to feel You close to me.

Strengthen my faith so I'll not stray

from what You want of me today.

Open my eyes, that I might see

Your Loving Arms surrounding me.

Open my ears that I might hear

Your Voice telling me not to fear.

Take my life Lord, it is Your own -

I kneel in worship at Your Throne.

Open my mouth to sing Your Praise

every one of my earthly days.

Thank You, Lord, that You'll be with me

now, and throughout Eternity.

Help me to do Your Will Lord,

in everything today.

Help me learn from obstacles

that I find in my way.

Give me clear understanding

and ears to hear Your Voice.

Grant me the will and wisdom

to do what is Your choice.

Don’t let me drag behind You,

don’t let me run ahead -

But matching Your footsteps

keep pace with You instead.

Christ Jesus, in the stillness

of this morning hour -

May I be drawn to Your Love

as a bee to a flower.

May I gather the nectar

to be found at Your feet.

May it, like pure honey flow

through all I write or speak.

May I, like each working bee

do Your Will, my life through -

And gather nectar to feed those

who need strength to serve You.

Jesus I give You full control

of everything that’s ‘me’.

My heart, my time, my cash, my plans

fears and anxiety.

I ask You to control them all

so everyone will see -

Not foolish pride and arrogance

but Your Humility.

Please forgive me Lord, I pray

for all faults I’ve made today.

Unawares they crept on me.

None were done deliberately.

Yet Lord each one gave You pain!

So that Your Peace I regain -

Please forgive me, Christ my King

for each ‘harmless’ ‘little’ Sin.

Lord, a journey I must take,

   please correct all faults I make.

Take the controls of my car

   for each journey near or far.

When I’m tired, be my eyes,

   help me, Lord, to realise –

Without You I will go wrong.

   I am weak, but You are strong.

When there are emergencies –

   take decisions for me please.

When there’s a frustrating car

   help me see that’s where You are.

Please, Lord, may I always feel

   Your Hands on my steering wheel.

Be my arms, turn the wheel right –

   all things, Lord, are in Your Sight.

Be my feet on pedals small –

   for You, Lord, are over all.

Take my heart, to You it’s flown –

   Your decisions are my own –

So whichever course You choose –

   I will not Your Will abuse.

Be with me, Lord, in my car –

for each journey, near or far

Guide me, Jesus, all the way

    along Your path of Light.

Never let me stop or stray

    or, alone, try to fight .

Teach me that 1 cannot do

    one ,worthwhile thing alone.

 Lord, without You I may do

    things You cannot condone.

Teach me, Lord, to come to You

    each minute, every day –

To give You every problem

    I meet along the way.

Please help me to understand

    that Yours is every fight .

That each battle You will win

when I rest in Your Might .

Father, take the shell that's ‘me’ -

    the soul that Jesus Christ set free –

By His death at Calvary.

    Living now, He is the Key.

The One road to Your Glory.

    Father, may I always be

Spirit filled incessantly –

   Overflowing constantly

So folk everywhere will see -

   You, each time they look at me.

Dear Lord Jesus I need You I’m weary.

Father God please forgive me, I pray –

Free me from Sin, sickness and sorrow

As I kneel at Jesus’ Cross today

               Father God, in Your Arms please enfold me.
               Show Your awesome Holiness today -
               So the Power of Your Love overwhelms me -
               With the freedom of Your narrow Way.

               Anoint me with Your Power , Holy Spirit.
               Anoint me with Your Oil I pray -
               So the Light of Christ Jesus burns in me -
               Giving Strength and Guidance every day.

               Help me see all the devil’s deception.
               Protect me from his influence each day -
               So the Light of Christ Jesus shows clearly -
               In all I think and do or say.

               Dear Lord Jesus I need You each moment.
               Holy Spirit please fill me I pray;
               Fill me up until You overflow me -
               Brightening lives Satan has turned grey.

               Father God I’ve laid down all my burdens.
               I’ve put each one at Christ’s Cross today.
               Lift me up, lay me low, as You will Lord -
               But keep Your Light burning in me I pray.

Lord, when my problems seem immense –

    I know that You will recompense.

You'll give Your Peace and Joy and Love.

    You'll lift my spirits up above –

 The murky depths of dark despair –

     let me know You'll always care.

 But I can't know a life with You

unless I tell You I want to.
