As a child I took my father each thing I broke, to mend. Now I take hopes and fears to God because He is my Friend. If resentment or frustration or bitterness are mine - With His readiness to help my unforgiveness combines. I'm rendering Him powerless to give me help each day - 'Till I leave burdens at His Cross then turn and walk away.
